 Triptych: John Henry Blake, by Murray Rockowitz, 2008 | Sonoma Valley Museum of Art Biennial 2009 SEPTEMBER 5 - NOVEMBER 29, 2009 A juried exhibition of forty-eight North Bay Artists. Fifty-nine original works by artists living in Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Solano and Mendocino counties have been accepted in the museum’s fourth juried biennial competition. Susan Cummins, collector and gallerist, Frances McCormack, artist and professor, and Michael Schwager, curator and professor, comprise this year's distinguished panel of judges. The diverse exhibition features paintings, drawings, photographs, ceramics, mixed media and sculptures. Participating artists include Michael Acker, Alan Azhderian, Todd Barricklow, Holly Blake, Edward Brooks, Michelle Brown, Hugh Buttrum, Deborah Colotti, Alice Corning, Susan De Haven, Lilea Duran, Dee Dushkes, Jon Gariepy, La Garnish, Connie Goldman, Lori Goldman, Deborah Hamon, Margaret Hatcher, Sona Holman, Bernadette Howard, Eric Hunter, Kathy Knebel, Lance Kuehne, Alan Lant, Ryan Lely, Lin Lipetz, Jacquie Lolich, Emma Luna, Lin Max, Linda MacDonald, Stela Mandel, Tatiana McWethy, Richard Moquin, Naomi Murakami, Christopher Newhard, Sandy Oppenheimer, Melissa Parhm, Sherry Parker, Sharon Paster, Murray Rockowitz, Boyan Rodoslav, Deborah Salomon, Peter Scaturro, Nancy Shapiro, William Smith, Stanley Sommer, Anneliese Vobis, and Robert Wollard.
