  | Treasure Artists: Featuring the work of Ray Jacobsen and A Tribute to Gregor Goethals NOVEMBER 1 - DECEMBER 14 2008 This exhibition will comprise of an assortment of paintings, sculptures, and works by 28 Sonoma Treasure artists selected each year since 1983, as well as by the 2008 honoree. Paintings by the late Ray Jacobsen, 1997 Sonoma Treasure artist, will form the centerpiece of the exhibition. The Sonoma Treasure artists in chronological order from 1983 through 2007 are: Marian Brackenridge, sculptor; Ted Christensen, painter; M.F.K. Fisher, writer; James Vanderbilt, painter; Anthony Stellon, sculptor; Dan Ruggles, musician; Irma Wallem, writer; C. Carl Jennings, metalsmith; Helène Minelli, painter; Otto Hitzberger, sculptor; Linus Maurer, cartoonist; Norton Buffalo, musician; James Griewe, chorale conductor; Stanley Mouse, painter; Fred Parker, painter; Jo Anne Connor, musician; Antoinette Kuhry, founder of the Sonoma City Opera; Ray Jacobsen, painter; Beverly Prevost, ceramicist; Kate Kennedy, theater actress and director; Jim Callahan, sculptor; Beth Marie Deenihan, dancer; Cynthia Hipkiss, ceramicist; Chester Arnold, painter and teacher; Roger and Diana Rhoten, theater directors and teachers; Keith Wicks, painter; Janis Kobe, gourd artists and teacher; Richard Schneider, musician and band director.
