SVMA’s Art Rewards The Student (A.R.T.S.) program serves 4th- and 5th-grade students throughout Sonoma Valley. A.R.T.S. is made possible through generous support from the Community Foundation, Sonoma County, the Sonoma Plein Air Foundation and the Calvin R. Vander Woude Lively Arts Series.
Scheduling A.R.T.S. at Your School
We look forward to placing a teaching artist (or two!) in your school, as well as working with your students at the Museum. Here’s how it works:
- The Museum will contact all eligible schools through the principals’ offices, via email in mid November.

Schools must send a confirmation reply on or before the deadline. In the email simply tell us:
- Yes, we’re in!
- the # of 4th- and 5th-grade classrooms and the # of students in each class
- your school’s 4th and 5th grade teachers' names and their email addresses and phone #s
- SVMA will promptly contact your school with additional information and to set up a scheduling appointment at your school.
