Pairings for the Senses

December 2, 2017
5:30pm - 7:30p

"Pairings was a smash hit! Really terrific fun, amazing wine, great food, and very entertaining and quite funny and poignant poetry, all with the museum and the Ligare exhibit as backdrop. Heads up—do not miss the December 2nd Pairings event."

Experience the best of art, poetry, food, and wine all in one place!

Pairings for the Senses is a SVMA concept inspired by the long-running event Flight of Poets, organized by Bay Area poets Hollie Hardy and Tess Taylor, and Sonoma sommelier Christopher Sawyer, where live poetry readings are paired with the perfect Sonoma Valley wines. In the Museum setting, SVMA adds to the mix our featured exhibitions: David Ligare: Magna Fide (The Great Belief) and Forge and Stone: Contemporary California Women Sculptors, along with a sampling of Sonoma Valley’s renowned cuisine.

Chris Sawyer is our MC for the evening.  Poets, chefs, and vintners share with the audience how the wine & food, poetry & art all come together in a set of dynamic pairings to delight all our senses.

Don’t wait to purchase tickets—seating is limited to just 60 people and last month's event sold out.
