Pairings for the Senses

PAIRINGS FOR THE SENSES:
Art+POETRY+Wine | Art+MUSIC+Wine | Art+FOOD+Wine
Join us at SVMA for a stellar line-up of Bay Area artists, vintners, poets, musicians, and chefs, who will be featured on individual nights in conjunction with a new exhibition at the Museum, Pairings: 16 Artists Creatively Combined.
The Pairings exhibition couples works of art in the same spirit of pairing great wines and good food. And it got us thinking, what else could we pair up? So SVMA and Sonoma sommelier Christopher Sawyer have "paired up" to create a series of sense-tingling pairing events for our art/wine/poetry/music/food-
loving audience... and isn't that everyone?
Poets Indigo Moor, Dean Rader, Brynn Saito, and Tess Taylor will each read a selection of their poetry inspired by art in the Pairings exhibition. Christopher Sawyer will bring it all together with a different Sonoma County wine to complement each poem/art pair.
Little Vineyards and Sonoma vintner/rocker Rich Little, along with singer-songwriter Chris Hanlin, headline our Art, Wine, and Music pairing.
We complete the experience with the classic pairing: Art, Wine, and Food. Chefs preparing creative pairings with art in the exhibition include: Saul Gropman of Cafe La Haye, Sondra Bernstein of the girl and the fig, Andrew Wilson of Carneros Bistro and Wine Bar, Ed Metcalfe of Shiso Modern Asian Kitchen, and Carlo-Alessandro Cavallo of B&V Whiskey Bar and Grille.
SOLD OUT! THANK YOU!
