Defining Eyes: Great Women Photographers Then and Now

November 16, 2015
3-5pm

This timely class will focus on many of the most famous women photographers and their powerful work. From Dorothea Lange's images of the Great Depression, to the dauntless Margaret Bourke-White, and Annie Leibovitz’ iconic celebrity narratives, this class will provide a meaningful look as to why women are so highly regarded in this medium. Join art historian Ann Wiklund for a fascinating look at the whole range of remarkable women photographers.

Note: The first session of Defining Eyes had to be unexpectedly rescheduled, so the series will begin on November 16. The second session will be set at the class on the 16th.
